Athlete Performance (Ages 12+)
Most athletes in this age group have developed neuromuscular patterns and the fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power. For athletes, technique is fine-tuned, and the final pieces to build the total athlete are provided. In essence, each athlete is optimized according to their biggest areas of improvement. During the our Athlete Performance sessions, training begins to resemble sporting demands. Our programs focus on repeated application of learned athleticism to create mastery. We provide endless combinations of athletic skill training so competing in the game is effortless. In addition, focus on Strength and Power increases with moderate and heavy loads to optimize power output.
We also offer a comprehensive In-Season Training Program that addresses the fact that athletes experience up to a 10% decrease in performance measures such as acceleration, sprint speed, change of direction, and strength at the onset of in-season competition and cessation of training. The II XCL In-Season Training Program is designed to enhance the body's ability to perform at optimal levels while maintaining fitness and strength levels. The program involves one training session per week.
